Transformer 36W The heart of the installation! Converting power The transformer converts the standard 230V from the wall socket to a 24V safe low voltage. Transformers are available in various wattages, Suslight works with transformers of 36W, 60W and 100W. Connection When a Wifi socket 230V is chosen, you plug the transformer into the Wifi socket 230V (and the plug of the Wifi socket into the splashproof socket:)). When there is chosen for a Dusk to dawn 24V/Schemer switch then you plug the transformer into a splashproof outlet. You then connect the Dusk to dawn 24V/Schemer switch to the transformer. The transformer is part of the 24 Volt cable system. Load capacity It is important to calculate the total wattage of all the 24V lamps you wish to connect to a transformer. This way you will know exactly which transformer to use for your garden lighting plan. Caution! We always recommend not to load the transformer more than 80% of the total wattage of the connected garden lights. For example, if you want to place 10 garden lamps of 4.0W each, then the total wattage is 40W. Then the use of a 60W transformer will suffice.
